Born New Orleans, LA, raised in Atlanta, GA. Spencer left home to attend the Florida State University School of Motion Picture Arts, earning himself a Bachelor’s degree in filmmaking with his honors thesis on Music Documentary Filmmaking.

The day after school he packed up and left Tallahassee, FL to venture out West, landing himself in Los Angeles, CA to start making documentaries and commercial projects for brands such as Red Bull, MeUndies and Coffee Bean & Teal Leaf.

Spencer works well in this collaborative field, producing and editing 3 feature films thus far (both narrative and documentary). Also working as a “One Man Show” - a renaissance man of all film departments - able to produced, capture, edit and deliver full concept pieces for any variety of clients.

Inspired by the works of Les Blank, Wim Wenders, Stephen Shore and old Cowboy films, he works in both motion pictures and still images. Ranging all digital formats as well as most film formats like Super8, 16mm and 35mm and Medium Format photography.

He utilizes all these mediums in his work, producing mixed media content and always striving to create projects that are timeless.
